Magic Beginners’ League - Block Constructed
Unsanctioned Tournament play for Beginner and intermediated players. Prizes include booster packs and xbox time. - Expert players are encouraged to show and give help to others.
First Pick Games was founded by Matthew Ley who is himself an avid gaming fan. Seeing a lack of quality places to game in the Seattle area, he took it upon himself to fill that need. In October 2007, First Pick Games opened its doors and offers you a variety of gaming every day of the week.
Quality Gaming
First Pick Games' events are each run by sanctioned tournament organizers who strive to keep them running smooth and on time. Some events are highly competitive while others are designed mainly for practice and fun. All competitive events are sanctioned.
The Perfect Hangout
Events and tournaments are not the only reason to stop by First Pick Games. We carry a wide selection of games ranging from card games to board games to video games. We also carry a selection of snacks and soda for the times you need some extra energy while you think about your next play. You can even feel free to take a break from the card games and pull out a board game or jump on the Xbox 360s and blast away at your friends on Halo 3 or many other 360 games!
Free Table Space
Fist Pick Games has free table space always set up for our gamers to use. It doesn't cost you a dime to get in a few pick-up games here during the week. And don't worry - there is lots of room for all: CCG's, Board Games, RPG's, and X-box players!
Customizable Game Store
You may be used to customizing your decks for various games, but at First Pick Games we take it a bit farther. We will custom order a particular game or accessory for you! You no longer have to search all over town for that hard to find item or card. Just tell us what you need and if we don't have it, we will order it for you. We will even run events for your play group. We have access to not only card games, but also board games and role playing games – along with all the accessories.
At First Pick Games, if we can do something to make your gaming experience more enjoyable, we will.
